VALIDATION

Ask yourself these questions, and be truthful, really think about this.

Do I have genuine inner confidence or do I just put it on?

Do I seek validation from others?

Do I realize that people’s offensive words are a sign of bleeding insecurity? That they have something going on in their life that causes them to project hate on others? That it has nothing to do with me?

Do I understand that it’s okay to not only call myself beautiful or handsome, but to feel and mean it too?

Do I?

Friend, don’t look for acceptance from others.

It’s not worth it at all.

Hiding the qualities that make you, you, only to reveal a facade that you think is a version of you.

Continuing on for so long that you lose yourself.

Digging so deeply into the persona of someone else that even you, no longer recognize you.

Don’t do you like that, it’s cruel.

The only person you need validation from is you, no one else but you.

You are your only copy, there is only one you. You should accept yourself for all that you are.

If the answer to any of the questions above equates to you disapproving yourself, it’s not too late to make a change. It never is.

All you gotta do is, stop.

Stop pushing yourself away and suppressing your true being.

Take the time out to find out who you really are, what you like, and what simply makes you, you.

Start little by little, removing the parts of who you think you are, and bring the real you to light.

You’ll be surprised at what you’ll find.
